Cast UK are partnering with a leading distribution business to recruit a Buyer to manage Hotels, Guest Amenities and Janitorial category within the hospitality sector.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Category, you will manage procurement activities, develop category plans, and maintain strong supplier relationships. You will support commercial growth, cost reduction, and operational efficiency while ensuring the right products are available at the right price.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product ranges, evaluate bids, and support customer tenders.

• Source and assess suppliers, including Far East sourcing.
\n
• Negotiate prices, trading agreements, and manage supplier performance.
\n
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to align category strategy with customer needs.
\n
• Support sustainability initiatives, stock control, and operational efficiencies.
\n

About You

\n
• Procurement experience within the hotel or hospitality sector (desirable).
\n
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
\n
• Knowledge of supplier management and Far East sourcing.
\n
• Confident working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities.
\n
• Organised, proactive, and adaptable.
\n
