Forklift Driver

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Reach Forklift Truck Driver to join their warehouse team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of goods within a fast-paced environment.

• Safely operate a reach forklift truck to load, unload, transport, and store goods within the warehouse.
\n
• Accurately stack and retrieve stock from high-level racking systems.
\n
• Ensure all goods are correctly received, stored, and documented in accordance with company procedures.
\n
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
\n
• Carry out manual handling duties, including the safe movement of bulky or heavy items where required.
\n
• Support stock management and warehouse organisation to maximise storage efficiency.
\n
• Conduct routine pre-use equipment checks and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
\n
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient warehouse operations and meet daily operational targets.
\n
• Adhere to all company policies and health and safety regulations.
\n

• Valid Reach Forklift Truck Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent).
\n
• Proven experience operating a reach forklift truck in a warehouse environment.
\n
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock handling procedures.
\n
• Strong awareness of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
\n
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
\n
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
\n
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling tasks.
\n

• Previous experience within the removals, storage, logistics, or warehousing sector.
\n
• Experience using warehouse management or stock control systems.
\n
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Basic mechanical knowledge of warehouse equipment.
\n
