\nShift: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)
\nJob Role of the Maintenance Engineer.
\nWe are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-volume FMCG manufacturing site in Bromborough. The company has heavily invested in advanced automation, continuous improvement projects, and state-of-the-art production lines, making it an excellent workplace for engineers seeking career development, technical growth, and long-term progression.
\nYou will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a demanding FMCG environment.
\nWorking on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, supporting production targets, and driving continuous improvement across the site.
\nSector - FMCG Factory Maintenance
\nNon-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer
\n· Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
\n· Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.
\n· Ability to work a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.
\nRequirements for the Maintenance Engineer
\n· Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience on production machinery.
\n· Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
\n· Experience working within a manufacturing environment with automated machinery.
\n· Knowledge of PLC fault finding (advantageous).
\nDesirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer.
\n· Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
\n· Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
