Accounts Payable Clerk

Temporary role – with opportunities to become permanent

Hertford, Hertfordshire – Hybrid role (3 days in office).

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Job Description:

Our client based in Hertford are looking for a temporary Purchase ledger clerk to join their finance department.

The right person, will have core accounting skills of around 12-18 months experience and happy to commit for an initial 3-month period. The role could become permanent for the right candidate.

The main duties will be:

• Support the wider Accounts Payable team where necessary.
\n
• Matching invoices and PO’s, resolving supplier queries, requesting missing invoices,
\n
• Statement reconciliations.
\n
• Company credit card administration, including collating and coding receipts,
\n
• Posting transactions and overseeing project / departmental credit cards.
\n
• Support the wider finance team with any ad hoc duties.
\n
• All other duties appropriate to the role
\n

The role offers flexibility and hybrid working once you have completed handover period.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 3 months with possible extension or permanent.
