FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced logistics operation on a steady day shift. This is a hands-on role involving forklift driving, freight handling, and warehouse coordination within a busy and supportive team environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring all freight is accurately checked, processed, and loaded on time while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Job Duties

• Driving counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
\n
• Loading and unloading box and curtain-sided trailers
\n
• Checking, preparing, and processing freight for dispatch
\n
• Receiving and checking in freight using unloading lists
\n
• Using computer systems to print labels, overpaks, and confirm quantities
\n
• Picking and assembling shipments accurately
\n
• Working closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
\n
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
\n
• Following ADR / Dangerous Goods awareness procedures and Health & Safety standards
\n

What We're Looking For

\n
• Valid external FLT Counterbalance licence
\n
• Previous warehouse / logistics experience
\n
• Confident forklift operator with good safety awareness
\n
• Comfortable using basic computer systems
\n
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
\n
• Good communication and team working skills
\n
