Operations Technicians

Freightserve recruitment are looking for Operations Technicians for a well-established niche sector Freight Forwarder that specialises within Fine Arts. The company is based in the Ashford, Middlesex area.

Key Responsibilities

• Interior designer installations.
\n
• Handling high-value furniture, artwork and decorative items.
\n
• Export packing to museum and international shipping standards.
\n
• Condition reporting.
\n
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
\n
• Working across both warehouse and road operations.
\n
• Representing The Company professionally when working directly with their clients.
\n
• The ability to work calmly and effectively as part of a team.
\n
• White glove collections and deliveries.
\n
• A full UK driving licence (Preferred)
\n
• The role involves regular travel throughout the UK and occasional overseas travel.
\n

Required experience:-

\n
• Experience within fine art, luxury interiors, specialist removals, museum logistics or a similar sector.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and a professional manner.
\n
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
\n

Overtime Rate:-

\n
• Monday to Friday: 1.25x hourly rate
\n
• Saturday: 1.5x hourly rate
\n
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: 2.0x hourly rate
\n

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00
