Food Production Operative

Taskmaster Resources LTD currently have opportunities for production operatives for well-established company within the food production industry. We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Working on a fast-paced food production line, ensuring products are prepared and packed to company standards
\n
• Collecting and preparing client orders accurately and efficiently
\n
• Reading and interpreting order sheets, labels, and barcodes to ensure correct products are picked and dispatched
\n
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety and food hygiene regulations
\n
• Performing quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications
\n
• Labelling, packing, and palletising goods ready for distribution
\n
• Following company processes and reporting any issues to supervisors
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Fluent in English to understand order sheets, barcodes, and instructions
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when collecting and processing orders
\n
• Good level of physical fitness as the role may involve standing for long periods and some manual handling
\n
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude to team working
\n
• Previous experience in food production, warehousing, or order picking is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
\n

Please note: this role is carried out in a chilled/cold environment, so applicants must be comfortable working in such conditions.

Shifts:

• Monday - Sunday Rota-based, working 5 days out of 7 (including weekends -occasional Sundays)
\n

Pay Rate:

£12.71 p/h
