Senior Financial Accountant Hybrid Working | Permanent | ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified

An established and growing UK business is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This is a broad and highly visible role, combining technical accounting, statutory reporting, audit management, treasury oversight and team leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Lead the preparation of consolidated group accounts and statutory financial statements.
\n
• Manage the year-end audit process and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
\n
• Oversee tax, VAT and statutory compliance reporting.
\n
• Deliver cash flow, treasury and working capital analysis.
\n
• Provide technical accounting expertise across UK GAAP and IFRS matters.
\n
• Support acquisition accounting and wider finance projects.
\n
• Lead and develop a small finance team while driving process improvements and strengthening financial controls.
\n

About You

\n
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
\n
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP and IFRS.
\n
• Experience managing audits and statutory reporting processes.
\n
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems.
\n
