Executive Assistant to CEO

Location: Kilburn, London

Salary: £50,000

\n

Hours: Full-time | Mon–Fri typically 8:30am – 5:00pm (flexibility required)

About the Role

\n

Our client is looking for a highly organised and dependable Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a family run builders merchants and provide additional support across the business and family where required.

\n

This is a hands-on, practical support role focused on day-to-day organisation, communication, and making sure everything runs smoothly. This is a role where they are looking for someone who enjoys being proactive, detail-focused and getting things done.

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Manage the CEO’s diary, meetings and daily schedule
  • \n
  • Oversee and organise the CEO’s email inbox, including drafting replies
  • \n
  • Arrange travel, bookings and itineraries
  • \n
  • Prepare basic meeting agendas, documents and notes to ensure meetings run smoothly
  • \n
  • Maintain and organise Microsoft 365 / OneDrive folders and filing systems
  • \n
  • Handle personal administration, appointments and general organisation
  • \n
  • Support with family-related matters, including managing post and ad hoc tasks
  • \n
  • Coordinate company hospitality, events and invitations
  • \n
  • Provide administrative support to Directors as needed
  • \n
  • Liaise with external contacts such as advisors and suppliers
  • \n
  • Track tasks and ensure follow-ups are completed
  • \n

Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience in a PA or EA role
  • \n
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent diary management/inbox skills
  • \n
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams and OneDrive
  • \n
  • Reliable, discreet and comfortable handling both personal and business matters
  • \n
  • Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks with trust and discretion
  • \n
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • \n
