Location: Braintree, Essex Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Job Type: Ongoing Temporary Assignment Pay Rate:£14.10 per hour

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Stores & Logistics Coordinator to join a busy and well-established operation based in Braintree. This is an ongoing temporary role offering full-time hours and a varied, hands-on position across stores, dispatch, and international logistics.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Receiving and counting stock items, inputting details accurately onto the in-house system
\n
• Packing, unpacking, and storing items in an organised and accessible manner
\n
• Dealing with and resolving any stock-related issues
\n
• Carrying out regular stock checks and physical inventory counts
\n
• Completing daily stores, goods-in, and dispatch tasks
\n
• Issuing and distributing materials, parts, and supplies to the workshop from requisitions
\n
• Researching freight costings and obtaining quotations
\n
• Organising dangerous goods shipping in line with IATA (Air) and IMDG (Sea) regulations
\n

Skills & Experience

\n
• Previous experience in a stores, logistics, or warehouse environment
\n
• Strong stock control and inventory management knowledge
\n
• Knowledge of IATA / IMDG dangerous goods shipping
\n
• Forklift licence preferred (or willingness to obtain)
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
\n
• Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with customers and freight agents
\n
• Competent using computer-based stock or ERP systems
\n
