CNC Machinist

Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a well-established Sheffield-based manufacturer to recruit a skilled CNC Machinist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business specialising in high-performance alloys and precision machining, operating in a modern, clean, and highly automated environment.

Shift: Rotating Mornings and AfternoonsLocation: Sheffield

Responsibilities:

\n
• Operating within a high-tolerance machining cell (CNC turning and honing)
\n
• Machining high-value, exotic alloy components
\n
• Maintaining ownership of product quality
\n
• Working to tight tolerances and production schedules
\n
• Completing and maintaining required documentation
\n
• Carrying out planned health & safety checks
\n
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards
\n
• Supporting wider team and undertaking additional duties as required
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Experience in small to medium batch CNC turning
\n
• Ideally experienced with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol controls
\n
• Exposure to milling processes advantageous
\n
• Experience working with exotic alloys beneficial (not essential)
\n
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
\n
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
\n
• Flexible and adaptable approach
\n
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
\n
