Account Handler – Commercial Insurance

The role

\n
• Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business enquiries
\n
• Grow and develop commercial Insurance business, via telephone, Teams and on a face to face basis, or attending client premises, be that New Business or cross selling cover via existing client base.
\n
• Handling inbound and outbound calls with clients and insurers
\n
• Supporting Account Directors with placement and client servicing
\n
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
\n
• Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance standards
\n
• Supporting with claims queries (basic claims knowledge beneficial)
\n

Working across a variety of trades and sectors including, Construction, Property Owners, Hospitality, Retail, Leisure and Manufacturing.

About you

\n
• Experience within commercial insurance (broker background preferred)
\n
• Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
\n
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
\n
• Proactive and service-driven mindset
\n
• Acturis experience beneficial but not essential
\n
• Cert CII (or working towards) beneficial
\n
• Basic claims knowledge beneficial
\n
