An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Actuarial Analyst to join a growing and innovative pensions consulting team.
\nThis role offers exposure to a wide range of actuarial, investment and pension scheme advisory work, supporting trustees, sponsoring employers, pension protection organisations and not-for-profit clients. You'll work in a collaborative environment where professional development is actively supported through structured training, mentoring and broad exposure across the business.

\nWhat You'll Be Doing

- Supporting the delivery of proactive, high-quality actuarial services across a portfolio of pension scheme clients. \n
- Preparing actuarial calculations, member benefit calculations and actuarial models. \n
- Assessing the impact of demographic changes, legislation and financial market developments on pension schemes. \n
- Drafting reports, presentations and technical client communications. \n
- Participating in client meetings and developing strong stakeholder relationships. \n
- Using innovative actuarial technology and analytical tools to assess risks and develop tailored solutions. \n
- Supporting projects focused on process improvement and service innovation. \n
- Developing specialist expertise in areas aligned with your interests and career goals. \n
Your background
\n- \n
- Honours degree (2:1 or above in a science-based subject) \n
- Understanding of UK Defined Benefit pension schemes and the regulatory environment is desirable \n
- A-Level Mathematics or equivalent \n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to quickly learn new systems \n
- Experience working proactively and using initiative to manage and complete tasks \n
- Understanding of UK Defined Benefit pension schemes and the regulatory environment is desirable \n
