Personal Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract)

  • Salary: £33,942 per annum (plus annual cost of living increase)

  • Hours: Full-time, 36.25 hours per week

  • Contract: Fixed-term until October 2027

  • Location: Cambridge (ad-hoc working from home)

This is a varied and rewarding role combining executive support, committee administration, event coordination, recruitment administration, diary management, and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in supporting senior leadership while helping to ensure the smooth running of a wide range of academic and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional administrative and PA support to senior leaders.
  • \n
  • Manage complex diaries, schedules, and meeting arrangements.
  • \n
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including application management, interview scheduling, assessor liaison, and candidate communications.
  • \n
  • Support onboarding activities for new appointments.
  • \n
  • Act as Secretary to several committees, producing agendas, papers, minutes, and monitoring actions.
  • \n
  • Coordinate formal dinners, guest events, and high-profile functions.
  • \n
  • Manage communications and correspondence on behalf of senior stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Oversee guest accommodation bookings and related administration.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate records and databases.
  • \n

About You

\n

  • Previous experience providing executive or senior-level PA support.
  • \n
  • Strong diary management and organisational skills.
  • \n
  • Experience coordinating projects, meetings, or events.
  • \n
\n
