Job Description
A leading UK organisation is looking for an ambitious FP&A Analyst to join its growing Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with data, developing reporting solutions, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
\nWorking closely with the FP&A and Commercial Finance teams, you'll play a key role in developing insightful dashboards, improving reporting processes, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and providing analysis that drives business performance.
\n\nThe Role
\nKey responsibilities include:
\n\n- \n
- Building, maintaining and enhancing automated dashboards and financial reporting packs. \n
- Developing meaningful visualisations and KPIs to support business performance. \n
- Analysing large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities. \n
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes. \n
- Assisting with pricing models, tenders, contract renewals and commercial analysis. \n
- Improving reporting processes through automation and continuous system enhancements. \n
- Working closely with Finance Business Partners and key stakeholders across the organisation. \n
- Delivering ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. \n
- About You \n
We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical ability with a passion for data and continuous improvement.
\n\nYou'll ideally have:
\n- \n
- Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent (or relevant analytical experience with a genuine interest in finance). \n
- Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, management reporting or a similar analytical finance role. \n
- Strong experience working with large datasets and producing dashboards or reports. \n
- Advanced Excel skills, including data modelling, PivotTables and advanced formulas. \n
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools. \n
- Knowledge of SQL, Adaptive Planning or other finance/reporting systems would be advantageous. \n
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. \n
- A proactive approach with a passion for automation and process improvement. \n
