Job Description
Salary: Up to £37,500 plus an SEN allowance of £2,679
\nContract: Full-time, term time only (Part-time candidates, 3 days per week, are also welcome!)
\nLocation: Ruddington, Nottinghamshire

About Our Environment\nOur class sizes are intentionally small, with no more than 6 pupils per class, ensuring personalized attention and support. Each class is led by a qualified teacher and supported by up to 2 teaching assistants. We cater to pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as various diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and more.
Your Role and Responsibilities\nAs a Secondary Science GCSE Class Teacher, you will:

- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum. \n
- Support the class team in facilitating learning and promoting positive behaviors. \n
- Monitor pupil progress and collaborate with staff to meet individual needs. \n
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities and trips. \n
- Build positive relationships to enhance learning outcomes. \n
To thrive in this role, you should have:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) \n
- A degree-level education \n
- Experience teaching GCSE Science at the secondary level \n
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH \n
- Strong behavior management skills \n
- A commitment to ongoing professional development \n
- A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check \n
