Starting Salary:£13.25p/h

Hours:Shifts, Days (Full time Monday to Friday)

Contract:12 weeks temp to perm position

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Generation People is currently hiring for a Bench Operative to join a manufacturing company based in the Chesterfield area.

This role is suited to someone who has passion and commitment to produce high quality wooden products with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Duties as the bench operative:

• Produce high quality, accurate and timely work to meet client demands and tight deadlines.
\n
• Assembly work
\n
• Use of hand tools and power tools
\n
• Proactive team player and committed to continuous improvement.
\n
• Manual handling and transportation of products around the warehouse
\n

Candidate Skills & Requirements:

• FLT Counterbalance licence advantageous
\n
• Minimum 1 years experience in joinery or bench assembly advantageous
\n
• Assembly experience
\n
• Use of hand tools and power tools
\n
• Experience of working with and around wooden products
\n
• Reliable and punctual
\n
• Great attention to detail
\n
