Job Description
A leading aerospace manufacturing business in Redditch is seeking a Quality Manager to take ownership of product quality across its precision engineering operation. This position is ideally suited to either an experienced Quality Manager or a Senior Quality Engineer looking to progress into a management role within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 p.a.Excellent benefits including progression, enhanced pension, life assuranec and others. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving product quality standards, reducing non-conformances, improving manufacturing quality performance, and ensuring customer expectations are consistently achieved across the business. The Role Reporting into senior management, responsibilities will include:\n

- Leading all product quality activities across manufacturing \n
- Managing customer quality concerns and driving effective corrective actions \n
- Reducing scrap, rework, and non-conformance levels across production \n
- Conducting root cause investigations using structured problem-solving techniques \n
- Supporting inspection and manufacturing teams to improve right-first-time performance \n
- Managing internal and external quality issues with customers and suppliers \n
- Ensuring compliance with AS9100 and aerospace quality standards \n
- Leading internal audits and supporting external customer audits \n
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and process capability \n
- Developing and improving quality procedures, controls, and reporting methods \n

- Previous experience within aerospace, precision engineering, or a highly regulated manufacturing environment \n
- Strong understanding of product quality within a manufacturing setting \n
- Experience managing NCRs, CAPA, and customer quality issues \n
- Knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems \n
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills \n
- The ability to lead quality improvements across production operations \n
- Previous leadership experience or the ambition to step into a management role \n
