Job Description
The Company: A highly renowned IFA firm based in Sheffield are now looking to add an experienced Financial Planner to their expanding client-facing team; and are in search of someone who can step into a senior role managing a high-value, business critical client-base. The need to hire is focused on the initial inheritance, and subsequent servicing of a private wealth focused client bank made up of around 80 families; with a focus on building new business opportunities around that foundation.

Package: £70-80k base + 20/25% annual bonus & full company benefits

The Role: The role focuses on delivering high-quality financial planning and wealth management to an established private-wealth client base, while also developing new business through warm, in-house opportunities. Key responsibilities include:

- Provide fully independent financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, and tax/estate planning. \n
- Conduct detailed client meetings to understand their financial position, objectives, and risk profile. \n
- Create and present tailored financial plans and recommendations aligned to client needs. \n
- Review and adjust client portfolios regularly to ensure they remain appropriate and on track. \n
- Use cashflow modelling to build comprehensive financial plans and update them in line with review cycles or changes in circumstances. \n
- Ensure all advice meets regulatory requirements and adheres to industry standards. \n
- Maintain accurate, thorough records of meetings, recommendations, and ongoing portfolio management. \n
- Build long-term client relationships, providing ongoing guidance and support. \n
- Carry out client reviews both remotely and face-to-face with confidence and professionalism. \n
The Person: You will be Diploma qualified (ideally progressing toward Chartered status) and hold CAS. Extensive experience advising private-wealth clients is essential. This role suits someone who thrives in a client-centric environment, enjoys servicing an established book and is also motivated by developing new business and growing AUM.
