  • Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses across a variety of sectors
  • \n
  • Reviewing statutory accounts prepared under FRS102 and FRS105
  • \n
  • Reviewing corporation tax computations
  • \n
  • Preparing and reviewing management accounts
  • \n
  • Delivering business advisory services to help clients improve profitability and growth
  • \n
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted long-term relationships
  • \n
  • Supporting clients with cloud accounting solutions and digital transformation
  • \n
  • Identifying tax planning and advisory opportunities in conjunction with specialist teams
  • \n
  • Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved
  • \n
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing junior members of the team
  • \n
  • Supporting Directors with business development and networking activities
  • \n
  • Helping drive improvements in systems, processes and client service
  • \n
This is a highly client-facing role with an excellent balance of accounts, advisory and leadership responsibilities.The CandidateThe successful candidate will ideally have:\n

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • \n
  • Strong experience within UK accountancy practice
  • \n
  • Experience managing a client portfolio
  • \n
  • Excellent technical accounts knowledge
  • \n
  • Commercial awareness and an advisory mindset
  • \n
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • \n
  • Previous experience mentoring or managing junior staff
  • \n
  • A proactive attitude with a desire to help grow both clients and the firm
  • \n
