TGP is delighted to be working in partnership with a well established health charity to recruit an experienced HR Manager on a part time fixed term contract.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative People team, supporting a range of HR initiatives while providing practical HR advice and guidance across the organisation.
\nWorking closely with the Director of People, you'll play a key role in delivering a broad range of operational HR activities, alongside supporting employee engagement, learning and development, and people focused projects.
About the Role \nReporting to the Director of People, you will provide a comprehensive generalist HR service, supporting managers and employees across the organisation.
\nThis is a varied, hands on role that combines day to day HR responsibilities with the delivery of people initiatives and projects. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact while working within a supportive and collaborative HR team.
Key Responsibilities Employee Relations \n- \n
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers on a range of employee relations matters. \n
- Support disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance management processes. \n
- Coach managers on HR policies, procedures and best practice. \n
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation. \n
- \n
- Support the delivery of HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. \n
- Assist with reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures. \n
- Coordinate employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives. \n
- Support improvements to recruitment, onboarding and induction processes. \n
- \n
- Coordinate learning and development activities across the organisation. \n
- Support the delivery of manager training programmes. \n
- Help identify development opportunities for employees. \n
- \n
- Support HR activities throughout the employee lifecycle. \n
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting. \n
- Assist with annual HR processes and workforce planning activities. \n
- Provide operational support to the wider HR team as required. \n
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience). \n
- Previous experience within a generalist HR role. \n
- Experience advising managers on employee relations matters. \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Experience supporting HR projects or improving HR processes. \n
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. \n
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. \n
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions focused approach. \n
