Public Procurement Solicitor
\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a public procurement Solicitor to join a growing commercial team advising on a broad range of non-contentious procurement matters, based in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen. This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced colleagues, develop specialist expertise and gain exposure to a varied client base across both the public and private sectors.
\nThe Role
\nYou will advise clients on a range of procurement matters, supporting them throughout the procurement process and providing practical, commercially focused legal advice.
\n\nResponsibilities will include:
\n- \n
- Advising on procurement strategy, contract awards, contract variations and regulatory compliance \n
- Drafting and reviewing procurement documentation and related contractual agreements \n
- Supporting clients through procurement exercises and helping to identify and resolve legal and commercial issues \n
- Advising clients throughout tender processes and assisting with procurement-related queries \n
- Working alongside colleagues on a variety of commercial projects where procurement expertise is required \n
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to business development initiatives where appropriate \n
About You
\nYou will be a qualified Solicitor with approximately 1-5 years' PQE and experience of, or a genuine interest in, procurement law.
\n\nYou should also have:

- Strong drafting, analytical and legal research skills \n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities \n
- A commercial, pragmatic approach to delivering advice \n
- The ability to manage your own workload while working collaboratively as part of a team \n
- A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to develop your technical expertise \n
