Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial vehicle dealership in Cardiff, South Wales, for an experienced Vehicle Service Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with franchise-approved dealership experience to join a friendly and dynamic team. The successful Service Advisor will be responsible for managing customer interactions, vehicle fault assessments, and promoting aftersales services.Benefits:\n

- Starting salary up to £32,598 per annum, increasing to £33,575 after 6 months \n

- Accurately capturing customer details and vehicle faults at initial contact \n
- Taking telephone bookings and inputting data into workshop systems \n
- Raising job cards and ensuring compliance with required documentation \n
- Updating customers on vehicle repair progress \n
- Managing customer database entries \n
- Handing over completed vehicles and explaining repair details \n
- Monitoring repair timelines to ensure timely delivery \n
- Selling aftersales services, including service contracts and warranties \n
- Coordinating vehicle bookings to maintain workshop workflow \n
- Explaining service and inspection requirements, including MOTs and vehicle tests \n
- Discussing payment options with customers \n
- Providing advice on warranty and service needs \n
- Ensuring compliance with legal vehicle inspection requirements \n

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor within a franchise-approved dealership \n
- Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service \n
- Organisational proficiency, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and DMS systems (Kerridge/ADP preferred) \n
- Full, clean UK driving licence with minimal points \n
- Experience in a commercial vehicle dealership is advantageous \n
