  • Initial period likely to be 5 days on-site to support onboarding, training and team integration

About the Role

\n

Reed HR are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide front-line, practical HR support to managers and employees across a diverse operational business.

\n

This role has a strong focus on employee relations case management, manager coaching, and ensuring consistent and compliant application of HR policies.

\n

You will play a key role in supporting a fair, pragmatic and commercially focused HR service, helping managers navigate complex people matters with confidence.

\n

Key Responsibilities

    \n
  • Manage end-to-end Employee Relations (ER) casework, from initial triage through to resolution
  • \n
  • Provide clear, pragmatic advice to managers on both informal and formal processes
  • \n
  • Coach managers on handling performance, absence, conduct and complex people issues
  • \n
  • Promote early resolution and reduce escalation of ER matters
  • \n
  • Ensure all HR activities comply with employment legislation and internal policies
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready case documentation
  • \n
  • Support organisational change activities including restructures, redundancies and TUPE
  • \n
  • Identify trends and provide insights to improve manager capability and HR practices
  • \n

About You

\n
    \n
  • Proven experience working at HR Advisor level, with a strong ER case management background
  • \n
  • Confident managing investigations, disciplinaries and grievances independently
  • \n
  • Experience coaching and influencing managers effectively
  • \n
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • \n
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • \n
  • Discreet, professional and able to handle sensitive information
  • \n
\n

Please note: This role requires existing advisory-level experience; candidates seeking a step-up from HR Officer level will not be considered.

Additional Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • \n
  • There may be a requirement to travel to other satellite offices as needed to support ER casework
  • \n
