Commercial Property Fee Earner
Job Description
My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Property Fee Earner to join their growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional who is looking to manage a varied caseload and play an integral role within a well-established practice.
\nThe Role
\nYou will be responsible for managing your own caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion, providing high-quality legal advice and delivering an excellent client experience.
\nThe caseload will include:
\n• Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
\n• Buying and selling retail premises, including shops, takeaways and other commercial units
\n• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases
\n• Lease renewals, assignments and variations
\n• Advising landlords and tenants on a range of commercial property matters
\n• Acting on small-scale development projects
\n• Advising on planning-related matters, including the relevant provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990
\n• Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other professionals throughout transactions
\n• Business development and maintaining strong client relationships
\nCandidates with experience in commercial landlord and tenant matters will be particularly welcomed, although this is not essential.
\nAbout You
\n• Experience managing a commercial property caseload
\n• Strong knowledge of commercial leases and freehold acquisitions and disposals
\n• Experience dealing with retail and mixed-use commercial premises
\n• Familiarity with planning matters relating to small developments, including aspects of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990
\n• Excellent client care and communication skills
\n• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters effectively
\n• A proactive and commercially focused approach
