- Taking full ownership of UK accounting activities \n
- Posting month-end journals and managing the close process \n
- Reconciling balance sheets and ensuring deadlines are met \n
- Maintaining SOX compliance and US GAAP reporting \n
- Acting as the first point of contact for external auditors and managing audit requests \n
- Supporting the monthly payroll process \n
- Challenging existing processes and driving continuous improvement \n
- Supporting the transition of AP/AR activities into the UK and future integration of Spain finance activities \n

- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) \n
- Previous experience in a similar role such as Financial Accountant, Audit Senior, or Senior Financial Accountant \n
- Exposure to month-end accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, audit, and financial controls \n
- Ideally, experience with SOX controls, US GAAP, inventory accounting, or working in manufacturing, engineering, defence, or similar environments \n
- Comfortable working with legacy Oracle ERP systems and keen to improve processes around them \n
- Proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently \n
- A questioning approach and a drive for process improvement \n
- Commercial thinker, willing to roll sleeves up, and flexible in a growing business \n
- Must drive and have own transport due to location \n
