Credit Controller

Credit Controller | initial 3-month contract (immediate start) | up to £34,000 per annum

Altum Consulting are partnering with a life sciences business to appoint an experienced Credit Controller on an initial 3-month contract. This role sits within a fast-paced, customer-centric environment where delivering an exceptional B2C experience is paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage credit control processes, including chasing overdue payments via phone
\n
• Handle customer queries and resolve payment issues efficiently and professionally
\n
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate customer records
\n
• Proactively collect outstanding funds while maintaining strong customer relationships
\n
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance controls and efficiency
\n
• Support month-end activities and reporting as required
\n

Skills & Experience

\n
• 2-3 years' experience in credit control or accounts receivable, ideally within a B2C environment
\n
• Strong reconciliation skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
\n
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to balance collections with a premium customer experience
\n
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar
\n
