Associate Paraplanner\n

A progressive and growing independent financial advice firm is looking to appoint an associate Paraplanner to support its Financial Advisers and develop into a full Paraplanner role.

\n

This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious financial planning professional who has started their Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, has experience writing suitability or recommendation reports, and is now looking for increased responsibility, technical exposure, and a clear route for progression.

Salary up to £40,000 + Bonus & hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

The Role\n

Working alongside experienced Paraplanners and Advisers, the successful candidate will:

  • \n

    Support the preparation of suitability and recommendation reports

  • \n
  • \n

    Assist with research across pensions, investments, and protection products

  • \n
  • \n

    Help analyse client circumstances, objectives, and risk profiles

  • \n
  • \n

    Carry out cashflow modelling and basic technical analysis

  • \n
  • \n

    Maintain accurate client records and documentation on back-office systems

  • \n
  • \n

    Develop the confidence to support and challenge adviser recommendations as experience grows

  • \n
About You\n
    \n
  • \n

    GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths

  • \n
  • \n

    Currently studying towards the Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4)

  • \n
  • \n

    Experience in an IFA or Wealth Management environment

  • \n
  • \n

    Some experience producing client-facing reports or suitability letters

  • \n
  • \n

    Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in financial planning

  • \n
  • \n

    Motivated, curious, and keen to progress into a full Paraplanner role

  • \n
