Assistant Management Accountant

Liverpool City Centre £30,000 - £35,000 + benefits

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Liverpool city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the production of accurate financial information and contributing to the day-to-day running of the finance function.

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts

• Supporting balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
\n
• Handling accruals and prepayments
\n
• Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes
\n
• Working with operational teams to provide financial insight
\n
• Supporting year-end audit preparation
\n
• Processing journals and maintaining accurate financial records
\n
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
\n

\n
• AAT qualified or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
\n
• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
\n
• Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail
\n
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
\n
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
\n
