My client are seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial premises. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and experience in janitorial services to contribute to a professional setting.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
\n
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
\n
• Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
\n
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages
\n
• Ensure all surfaces are kept free from dust, dirt, and stains
\n
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
\n
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines
\n
• Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security protocols
\n

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
\n
• Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within designated timeframes
\n
• Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the shift
\n
• Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
\n
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
