Transport & Warehouse Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transport & Warehouse Manager to join a well established logistics business specialising in the secure handling of high value goods.

• Manage daily transport and warehouse operations.
\n
• Lead and support a team of drivers and warehouse staff.
\n
• Ensure compliance with UK transport legislation, health & safety and security procedures.
\n
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing and compliance.
\n
• Manage secure storage, inventory control and dispatch operations.
\n
• Monitor driver hours and operational performance.
\n
• Respond to operational issues and maintain exceptional service standards.
\n
• Drive continuous improvements across transport and warehouse operations.
\n

• Previous experience managing transport and warehouse operations.
\n
• Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance.
\n
• Experience working with high-value or secure goods is advantageous.
\n
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
\n
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and solve problems effectively.
\n
• Full UK driving licence.
\n
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
\n
• Flexible approach to working hours when required.
\n
