MIG Welder Are you a MIG Welder looking for your next contract opportunity? Do you have experience welding mild steel and producing high-quality work to engineering drawings? Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing business, is seeking a MIG Welder to join their team in Nottingham on an initial 2-month contract, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will have a strong fabrication and welding background, experience working with mild steel, and the ability to work to a high standard in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.MIG Welder2-Month Contract (Potential to Extend)Monday to FridayNottinghamMIG WelderJob Description • Carry out MIG welding on mild steel components to engineering specifications• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols• Assemble and weld fabricated parts to a high standard of quality• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements• Perform basic fabrication tasks where required• Maintain a safe and organised working environment in line with health and safety procedures• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet production deadlines• Carry out routine maintenance and care of welding equipment• Identify and report any quality or production issues promptly• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing teamMIG WelderEssential Experience / Skills / Qualifications • Proven experience as a MIG Welder within a manufacturing or fabrication environment• Strong experience welding mild steel• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship• Experience using workshop tools and fabrication equipment• Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Reliable, motivated, and able to meet production deadlines If you, or anyone you know are interested in the role, click apply or send your CV to .
