Location: Richmond (Hybrid Working) Salary: £55,000 per annum + Benefits
About the Role\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established and growing financial planning firm.
\nThis role offers the chance to work closely with experienced Financial Advisers, providing high-quality technical support and helping to deliver tailored financial planning solutions to clients.
\nThe successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative team environment, with excellent opportunities for career progression, ongoing training, and support towards Chartered status.
\nFollowing an initial training period, the role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining remote working, office-based collaboration, and in-person meetings depending on business and client needs.
\n Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support the preparation of comprehensive financial plans. \n
- Gather and organise client information, including income, expenditure, assets, and liabilities. \n
- Use financial planning software to model scenarios and cashflow projections. \n
- Prepare suitability reports, investment recommendations, and technical research. \n
- Assist advisers in developing and implementing bespoke financial strategies. \n
- Research financial products and investment solutions. \n
- Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal procedures. \n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records. \n
- Keep abreast of market developments, legislation, and regulatory changes. \n
You will be a highly organised and analytical professional with strong technical knowledge and a genuine passion for financial planning.
Qualifications\n- \n
- CII Level 4 Diploma qualified (or equivalent) with substantial paraplanning experience. \n
- Ambition to progress towards Chartered Financial Planner status (fully supported). \n
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English. \n
- \n
- Good understanding of pensions, investments, personal tax, estate planning, and protection. \n
- Ability to perform basic tax calculations. \n
- Proven experience in an established Paraplanning role within a financial planning environment. \n
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end financial planning process. \n
- Experience with financial planning and back-office systems such as Genovo and/or Intelliflo Office. \n

- Excellent analytical and report-writing skills. \n
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail. \n
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. \n
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. \n
- Team-oriented with a proactive and professional approach. \n
