Paraplanner

Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our financial planning team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by preparing high-quality suitability reports, conducting technical research, and ensuring all advice is compliant and aligned with regulatory standards. Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and compliant suitability reports based on adviser recommendations
\n
• Conduct in-depth financial product and fund research
\n
• Analyse client information including income, assets, pensions, investments, and protection needs
\n
• Support advisers in the development of financial planning strategies
\n
• Ensure all advice aligns with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards
\n
• Liaise with advisers and administrators to gather and clarify client information
\n
• Assist in preparing cashflow modelling and financial planning scenarios where required
\n
• Maintain accurate and well-organised client records
\n
• Keep up to date with financial products, legislation, and market changes
\n

Skills & Experience Required:

\n
• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4)
\n
• Previous experience in a Paraplanning or technical financial services role
\n
• Strong understanding of financial planning products including pensions, investments, and protection
\n
• Experience writing suitability reports
\n
• Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
\n
• Excellent analytical and research skills
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with advisers
