Venn Group is delighted to be recruiting for a Group Treasury Manager on behalf of a leading university. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced treasury professional to join a complex and values-driven institution, leading treasury operations and supporting the university's long-term financial sustainability, investment strategy and capital development plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the university's treasury function, ensuring effective cash flow, liquidity and working capital management
  • \n
  • Oversee short and long-term cash flow forecasting to support strategic decision-making and operational requirements
  • \n
  • Manage relationships with banking partners, investment managers and other financial stakeholders
  • \n
  • Monitor and manage borrowing arrangements, debt facilities and covenant compliance
  • \n
  • Support the management of investment portfolios and treasury-related financial risks
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain treasury policies, controls and governance frameworks
  • \n
  • Provide treasury reporting, analysis and recommendations to senior finance leaders
  • \n
  • Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes, systems and financial performance
  • \n

Ideal Candidate Profile

\n

  • Proven experience in a Treasury Manager, Group Treasury Manager or similar role
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of treasury management, liquidity planning and cash flow forecasting
  • \n
  • Experience managing banking relationships, investments and debt facilities
  • \n
  • Knowledge of financial risk management, treasury controls and governance requirements
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, including advanced Excel
  • \n
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to a range of stakeholders
  • \n
  • Experience working within a large, complex organisation; Higher Education or public sector experience would be advantageous
  • \n
  • ACT qualification or equivalent treasury qualification would be desirable
  • \n

Duration: Permanent

\n

Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 per annum

\n

Working hours: 35 hours per week

\n

Working pattern: Hybrid
