Key responsibilities of the Audit Senior:\n

• Leading audits from planning through to completion for a varied portfolio of clients.
\n
• Supervising and supporting junior team members on audit assignments.
\n
• Preparing and reviewing audit working papers in line with UK auditing standards.
\n
• Liaising directly with clients to gather information and resolve audit queries.
\n
• Identifying risk areas and ensuring audits are delivered efficiently and accurately.
\n
• Preparing draft financial statements and supporting audit files for manager review.
\n
• Assisting with the development and training of junior staff.
\n
• Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact on-site.
\n
• Supporting managers and partners with ad hoc assignments and technical queries.
\n

The successful Audit Senior:\n

\n
• ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified with strong audit experience in practice.
\n
• Proven experience working on external audit assignments from planning to completion.
\n
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
\n
• Confident in leading small audit teams and supervising junior staff.
\n
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
\n
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
\n
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to progress within practice.
\n
