Personal Injury Paralegal

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pre-Litigation Claims Handler to join a growing defendant personal injury team based in Bradford city centre.

Working for a modern, commercially focused law firm, you'll manage a caseload of Employer's Liability and Public Liability claims from initial notification through to litigation, handling high-quality defendant work within a supportive and collaborative team.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

\n
• Managing defendant EL/PL claims through the pre-litigation stage
\n
• Using the MOJ EL/PL Portal to progress claims efficiently
\n
• Investigating liability and negotiating settlements
\n
• Liaising with clients, insurers, experts and third parties
\n
• Maintaining accurate case records, reserves and compliance
\n
• Delivering excellent client service throughout the claims process
\n

AboutYou

You'll ideally have:

\n
• A minimum of 2 years' experience handling defendant EL/PL claims at the pre-litigation stage
\n
• Experience using the MOJ EL/PL Portal
\n
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload
\n
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
\n
