Electrical Engineer

We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Electrical Engineer to join their team for a stand out role in Sunderland. Our client is offering a generous package, including High Voltage training, annual bonuses, and exposure to a state of the art Critical site.

For this role, you will ensure PPM and Reactive maintenance is carried out, liaise with subcontractors, represent the company in a positive manner, and ensure all compliance is adhered to. This role follows a 4on 4off shift pattern (Days and Nights).

Electrical Engineer Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
\n
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation

• Quotations
\n
• Health & Safety
\n
• Logbooks
\n
• Risk assessments
\n
• Permits to work
\n

Electrical Engineer Requirements:

\n
• Fully qualified in either Electrical installations (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
\n
• Career driven and motivated
\n
• Prior experience in critical environments - desirable, not essential
\n
• High voltage switching experience - desirable
\n
• At least 3 years experience prior working in commercial environments
\n

Electrical Engineer Salary and Benefits:

• £46,000 + Overtime available
\n
• High Voltage Training provided + Additional £1.5k when passed)
\n
