Mobile Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Mobile Vehicle Technician in Edinburgh. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to work independently across Edinburgh, Galashiels, and surrounding areas, providing on-site servicing and diagnostics directly from their home location.Benefits:\n

Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:\n

\n
• Conduct servicing, repairs, and diagnostic work at customer premises
\n
• Operate from a fully equipped service van, beginning and ending shifts at home
\n
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism
\n
• Accurately complete job cards and documentation as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
\n
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults rapidly and efficiently
\n
• Manage daily jobs independently on the road, ensuring timely completion
\n

Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:\n

\n
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Proven experience as a mobile or workshop vehicle technician
\n
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage daily workloads
\n
• Confident in using diagnostic tools and equipment
\n
