IFA Administrator

\nAn established and growing Independent Financial Advisory practice is seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join its friendly and supportive team.
\nBased in a beautiful converted barn office with ample parking, this is an excellent opportunity for an administrator with previous financial services experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while benefiting from flexible hybrid working.
\nThe Role
\nWorking alongside experienced advisers and support staff, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across pensions, investments, protection, and employee benefits. This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Assisting with the preparation of annual client reviews \n
- Processing and submitting new business applications through to completion \n
- Monitoring applications and liaising with providers regarding progress \n
- Maintaining accurate client records on the back-office system \n
- Processing policy amendments, including fund switches and changes to existing plans \n
- Preparing client and provider correspondence \n
- Liaising with clients, providers and third parties regarding new and existing business \n
- Supporting the preparation of suitability reports \n
- Managing adviser fees, commission entries and raising invoices \n
- Chasing outstanding adviser fees where required \n
- Diary management using Outlook and back-office systems \n
- Ensuring files meet regulatory and compliance requirements \n
- General administration duties including document management and electronic filing \n
About You
\n- \n
- At least 3 years' experience within an IFA or Financial Services Administration role \n
- Good understanding of pensions, investments and protection products \n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively \n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy \n
- Confident communicator with strong client service skills \n
- Strong numeracy and reporting abilities \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook \n
- Experience using Intelliflo would be advantageous \n
- Knowledge of provider platforms such as Abrdn Wrap, AJ Bell, James Hay, Embark, Brooks Macdonald, Aviva, Utmost or Tatton would be beneficial, but not essential \n
