\nOur client is looking to recruit a QHSE Lead on an initial 3-6 month basis.
\nThis is a key role responsible for leading the day-to-day coordination and continual improvement of our clients Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental activities across our international business.
\nThe job you’ll do
\n- \n
- Reporting to the Group QHSE Manager, you'll work with colleagues across the UK, France, Belgium and Italy to ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement and promote a positive safety culture. \n
- While the role includes responsibility for management systems, audits and compliance activities, it is also a hands-on operational position. \n
- You'll be actively involved in supporting office-based health and safety, hybrid and remote working arrangements, mandatory training programmes, risk assessments, incident management and employee wellbeing initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. \n
- This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a broad QHSE remit within an established international engineering consultancy. \n

- You Will:- \n
- Coordinate and support clients Integrated Management System across the Group \n
- Lead internal audit programmes and support external certification audits. \n
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. \n
- Provide practical day-to-day health and safety support across office, hybrid and remote working environments. \n
- Coordinate workplace risk assessments, DSE assessments and office inspections. \n
- Oversee mandatory training requirements and support training compliance across all entities \n
- Support incident reporting, investigations and corrective action management. \n
- Monitor QHSE performance and prepare management reporting and KPI analysis. \n
- Maintain QHSE policies, procedures and guidance documentation. \n
- Support emergency preparedness activities and business continuity initiatives. \n
- Work closely with operational, engineering, HR and business support teams to promote best practice. \n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen compliance, safety culture and business performance. \n
- Act as a key point of contact for auditors, certification bodies, training providers and regulatory stakeholders. \n
About You
\n- \n
- Experience in a QHSE, Health & Safety, Compliance or Management Systems role \n
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. \n
- Experience supporting or leading internal and external audits. \n
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements. \n
- Experience undertaking or coordinating risk assessments and investigations. \n
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across a fast-paced international business. \n
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. \n
