Interim Financial Controller (Maternity Cover) — Fixed-Term Contract

Via is supporting a well-established brand activation and retail marketing agency based in SW London with the recruitment of a Financial Controller to cover maternity leave on a fixed-term contract basis.

The business works with a number of major international brands and has recently returned to independent ownership following a management buyout from its previous parent group. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, creatively-led agency at an interesting point in its ownership journey.

The role:

Reporting to the CFO, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, managing a small finance team and ensuring continuity through the maternity leave period.

Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of month-end management accounts and reporting
\n
• Managing and developing a small finance team
\n
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
\n
• Overseeing statutory year-end accounts and the audit process
\n
• Maintaining and strengthening financial controls
\n
• Business partnering with senior stakeholders across the agency
\n

What we're looking for:

\n
• Proven Financial Controller or senior Finance Manager experience, ideally within agency, media or professional services environments
\n
• Experience managing a small team
\n
• Comfortable stepping into an established finance function with limited handover
\n
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred
\n
• Available for an immediate/short-notice start
\n
