Role: Build Assembly Technician Type: Permanent Hours: Day Shifts Salary:£28,000 - £33,000 per annum + Benefits Location: Leicester, East Midlands Owen Daniels are supporting a leading engineering company in Leicester and we are looking for a skilled Build Assembly Technician to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.Build Assembly Technician – Key responsibilities:\n

• Carry out precise mechanical and electrical assembly of high-precision engineering instruments
\n
• Assemble, test, and calibrate products using a range of components with occasional soldering.
\n
• Support the production of new products through prototype builds and follow specific build instructions efficiently
\n
• Work with engineers to improve processes, quality, and cost control.
\n
• Maintain consistent high output whilst meeting deadlines.
\n

Build Assembly Technician - Essential Skills & Experience:\n

\n
• Proficiency in reading technical engineering drawings and bill of materials
\n
• Engineering qualifications are desirable such as Engineering BTEC, HNC, HND or Engineering degree
\n
• GCSEs in Maths and English
\n
• Minimum of 2 years in an Assembly role or similar
\n
