Court of Protection Newly Qualified - Associate Solicitor Taunton | Hybrid Working 1+ Years experience needed

The Role

This very established and fast growing regional law firm in Taunton is recruiting a solicitor into its established Court of Protection team

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Independently manage a caseload of Property & Affairs matters
\n
• Handle day-to-day tasks and decisions - Managing bank accounts, investments and benefits
\n
• Prepare and submit applications to the Court of Protection
\n
• Liaise with individuals, their families, deputies and the OPG
\n
• Draft witness statements and court applications
\n
• Represent clients at Court of Protection hearings
\n
• Supervise more junior members of the team
\n

About You

\n
• You will already be working in a Court of Protection role
\n
• And likely running your own caseload
\n
• You may be a newly qualified solicitor, or have up to 4 or 5 years’ experience
\n
