\nA friendly and practical Kitchen Assistant is required to support food preparation, meal service, kitchen cleaning, stock rotation and safe catering operations within a welcoming resident-focused environment.

\n\nSALARY: £13.45 per Hour + Benefits
\nLOCATION: Stanwell, Surrey (TW19)
\nJOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent
\nWORKING HOURS: 8 Hours, Saturday and Sunday, 10:00-14:00
\n\nJOB OVERVIEW
\nA great opportunity has arisen for a Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly, hard-working catering team.
\nWorking as the Kitchen Assistant, you will help deliver high quality meals in a clean, safe and welcoming kitchen environment for residents.
\nAs the Kitchen Assistant, you will support food preparation, meal service, kitchen cleaning, dining room cleaning, stock rotation, deliveries and general kitchen duties, while following health and safety food regulations.
\nPrevious kitchen experience would be desirable, but it is not essential, as full training will be provided. The role would suit someone reliable, caring and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
\n\nDUTIES
\nYour duties as the Kitchen Assistant will include:

- Maintaining health and safety food regulations \n
- Preparing and serving food and cleaning the kitchen \n
- Setting up the service area for breakfast, lunch and evening meals \n
- Cleaning the dining room, kitchen, storerooms and outside storage area \n
- Checking in goods for quality control and packing goods away on delivery \n
- Assisting the chef with the daily running of the service \n
- Supporting the Chef Manager with deliveries, stock rotation and removing any out-of-date items \n
- Communicating when products are running low \n
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
\nESSENTIAL
\n- \n
- Ability to follow instructions from the Chef Manager and Catering Manager \n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment \n
- Comfortable engaging with elderly and vulnerable customers and their families in a caring and respectful way \n
- Confident using computers for online training and basic systems \n
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to working well as part of a team \n
DESIRABLE

- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment \n
