Job Description
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and qualified Social Worker to join a leading independent fostering agency renowned for its "Outstanding" Ofsted rating.

- Role Type: Full-time, Permanent vacancy. \n
- Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, structured from Monday to Friday. \n
- Remuneration: An annual salary of up to £42,000, which includes a comprehensive car allowance. \n
- Key Purpose: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an allocated caseload of foster carers to cultivate and sustain safe, nurturing, and stable family environments for looked-after children. \n
- Line Management: The position reports directly to the Registered or Deputy Manager. \n

- Supervise foster carer caseloads to maintain high care standards. \n
- Provide high-quality guidance and routine support visits. \n
- Support annual reviews and present cases to fostering panels. \n
- Identify training needs and contribute to support groups and workshops. \n
- Assist carers in preparing youth for independent living. \n
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota. \n
- Liaise with local authorities to meet children's holistic needs. \n
- Monitor and update care, placement, PEP, and pathway plans. \n
- Complete individual risk assessments and safe caring plans. \n
- Maintain accurate, timely chronological case recordings. \n
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and regulations. \n
- Attend professional multi-agency meetings and support events. \n
- Maintain all records according to GDPR guidelines. \n

- Must be a Qualified Registered Social Worker with a valid professional registration. \n
