Site Services Engineer

This company specializes in optimizing asset performance across various sectors, including water industry and industrial facilities. We are looking for a dedicated Site Services Engineer to join our dynamic team.
\nDay-to-day of the role:
\n- \n
- Responsible for the removal, installation, dismantling, rebuild, and refurbishment of plant and assets such as pumps, gearboxes, motors, and generators. \n
- Ensure all onsite inspection and assembly documentation are completed accurately. \n
- Adhere to company, site, and client health and safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe working culture. \n
- Conduct root cause and fault-finding analysis on electro-mechanical equipment and systems, documenting findings and corrective actions. \n
- Undertake on-site maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment when feasible. \n
- Manage the dismantling and removal of equipment for offsite repair and conduct re-installation and commissioning post-repair. \n
- Provide routine service and maintenance on client sites and attend breakdowns as required. \n
- Work in the company’s workshops as business needs dictate. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications such as ONC, HNC, NVQ. \n
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar field-based role. \n
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet the company’s reactive nature. \n
- Full clean UK driving licence. \n
- Desirable: Knowledge of water process equipment, confined space qualification, and various industry-related certifications like Thames Water Passport, CSCS, or CCNSG. \n
