Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver - Chelmsford

Chelmsford £13.20 per hour Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (40 hours per week) Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

As a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring stock is handled efficiently, accurately, and safely.

• Picking orders and palletising goods ready for dispatch
\n
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and effectively
\n
• Replenishing stock using a pump truck
\n
• Moving stock from goods-in areas to storage and picking locations
\n
• Supporting picking and packing activities as required
\n
• Assisting with unloading containers
\n
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
\n
• Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times
\n

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (external/accredited licence required - in-house licences cannot be accepted)
\n
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work efficiently
\n
• Understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures
\n
• Full UK driving licence due to location
\n
• Positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
\n

• Reliable and hardworking

• Strong attention to detail
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
\n
• Willingness to support colleagues and take on a variety of warehouse duties

• Competitive pay rate of £13.20 per hour
