\nAbout the Role
\nWe are seeking qualified School Bank Nurses to join our team on a flexible, ad hoc basis, providing cover for our full-time nursing staff. You will deliver a high-quality healthcare service, offering first aid, medical support, and promoting both physical and mental wellbeing across the school.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic nurse to contribute to a holistic approach to pupil care, including illness and injury assessment, treatment, and emotional wellbeing support.

\nKey Responsibilities
\n• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in line with the NMC Code.
\n• Provide first aid and emergency care to pupils, staff, and visitors, including pitch- side support where required.
\n• Assess and triage pupils, prioritising care effectively.
\n• Support pupils with acute and chronic health needs.
\n• Offer confidential health advice and signpost to appropriate services.
\n• Liaise with staff, parents, and external healthcare professionals.
\n• Maintain accurate medical records in line with GDPR.
\n• Ensure safe handling, storage, and administration of medicines.
\n• Maintain Health Centre supplies and emergency equipment.
\n• Follow infection control procedures and promote health education.
\nPerson Specification
\n• Qualified nurse with current NMC registration.
\n• Strong clinical skills, ideally with school or community experience.
\n• Organised, calm, and able to work under pressure.
\n• Friendly, approachable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
\n• Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
