Freight Pricing Clerk

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Clerk to work for a Medium sized forwarder.

Working within an established team, previous freight pricing experience required for the role. Our client has 2 roles 1 x full-time Permanent role, and a maternity leave contract.

Role Involves.

• Speaking with suppliers, airlines, Shipping line hauliers, etc, Negotiating rates, contracts
\n
• Daily quoting one off quoted/ tenders/ RFQs for air and ocean
\n
• Mainly for working with overseas network partner
\n
• Working on Cargo wise will be added benefit
\n
• Working & Building relationship with overseas Network Agent.
\n
• build relationship & bring new business.
\n
• Strong Negotiations skill
\n
• Strong numeracy skill
\n
• Pricing and spot quotes to Network Agents, UK customers an Over sear customers
\n
• Creating tariffs and quote packs for ongoing agents & customers.
\n
• Working with Cargo wise in all aspect of pricing
\n
• Regular liaising with Clients (Agents) / customers and business development.
\n
• Regular meeting with Airlines, Hauliers & Suppliers and building relationship
\n
• Regular team meeting with work discussion and targets.
\n

Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm

Salary depends on experience.
